Features
Air gap is double-tuned. Double yokes structure forms closed magnetic circuit, with better rigidity. Magnetic field direction is horizontal. Yoke iron is oriented at a 45°angle, easy to take and put samples. This kind of electromagnet can be used in magnetic materials test, vibrating sample magnetometer, Hall effect studies, magnetoresistance effect research, magnetostriction research, torsion magnetometer, force method magnetometer, magnetic susceptibility measurement, ect.
Working principle
Electromagnet is a closed magnetic circuit, composed of coil, yoke, iron core (pole) and pole head. Energized electrically conductive winding (coil) can produce a magnetic field, the internal arranged irregular ferromagnetic metal atoms of the iron core(pole) rearrange regularly with the action of the external coil’s magnetic field, together point in one direction, thereby these ferromagnetic metal atoms are magnetized to increase the magnetic flux, so that a considerable amount of the magnetic flux Φ are produced during the iron core, the yoke and air gap. When the control power supply current is changed, controllable high magnetic field is formed between the the air gap of two poles.
